WooCommerce Builder Plugin 3.0 is Here!

by | Mar 11, 2020 | News | 16 comments

I’m really excited to announce the availability of the WooCommerce Builder plugin for Divi 3.0. This is the first featured update in 2020.

Version 3 of the plugin focuses on improving and adding more options to every single module of the plugin. This update adds more features to the archive products module.

What’s New in 3.0?

This version adds 3 new features to the archive module, these features are just the beginning. The archive module has a lot of planned features 🙂

Flip Product Image on Hover

Flip WooCommerce product image on hover

This is the main feature of this update. When you hover over the product image on archive pages ( categories, tags & shop ), the product image will fade out with a nice animation to reveal the first image of the product gallery.

To enable the feature, go to the module’s content settings -> Components -> enable “Flip Image On Hover”.

Show/Hide the Product Featured Image

The product featured image was always visible on archive pages. I got a lot of requests to add the ability to hide it to get a minimalistic look.

Now you decide if you want the image to appear or not with a click of a button and of course, it is visible by default.

Show/Hide The Sale Badge

If the product is on a sale, WooCommerce displays a sale badge over the featured image to make it obvious for customers.

Now, you can remove this badge if you don’t like it.

Improve Compatibility With WooCommerce 4.0

WooCommerce 4.0 was released a couple of hours ago and our version of the plugin is fully compatible with it.

WooCommerce 4.0 is a major update. It includes the “WooCommerce Admin” plugin as a part of WooCommerce. This is a big one and you must make a full backup before you update it.

You can read about this new WooCommerce version here.

That’s all for this update, stay tuned for more to come.

Awesome! Maybe a nice feature would be to make the items in flex so they all have the same height!

Do you mean the products themselves? or the images?

Would it be possible to add the ability to do what they do on Amazon? Where when you hover the image zooms in?

Hey Abdou … “WooCommerce Builder For Divi 3.0,” some people think that your plugin is for Divi 3.0 and don’t realize that actually is the version 3.0 of your plugin. You might want to make that heading more clear.
    All the best.

    Hi Abdou,
I’m looking for the chance to customize my product category pages built in Divi Builder. I need, for example, to have a list of categories on the side and to have the short (or long) product description beside the image in the grid of product. Or any other woocommerce field, attribute or, why not, custom field.
    It’s possibile with your plugin?

    Thanks.

Hi Mario, you can’t display attributes nor custom fields, this will need custom coding.
