I’m pleased to announce the release of a new version of the popular WooCommerce Builder For Divi plugin. Version 3.1 is now available to download. It has been a while since I released new modules, but this new version has a whole new module that has been requested a lot to display WooCommerce categories. This update also adds support for WooCommerce 4.2. Woo Categories Module The module displays a grid of WooCommerce Categories with full support of Divi theme‘s mighty visual builder. It can be used on any page of your website. Woo Categories Module Content Settings – Columns Number Choose how many columns to display 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 columns. Default is 3. – Hide Empty Hide categories that have no products. – Hide Subcategories Enable this to show top level categories only. – Hide Products Count Next to each category title, there will be the products count published under this category. Enable this option to hide it. – Show Category Description Show the category description under the title. Category description can be set under your admin dashboard -> Products -> Categories -> Edit any category -> Fill the Description field. – View Products Button Add a button to take the user to the category page where the products are listed. – Button Text View products button text. The default is “View Products”. Woo Categories Module Advanced Settings – Category Background The background color of each category item. This is different than the background of the module which contains all the categories. – Category Padding Add padding to the category item. – Category Box Shadow The box shadow of each category item. – Title Text Controls the font ( family, size, style, color… ) of the category title. – Description Text Controls the font ( family, size, style, color… ) of the category description. – Products Count Text Controls the font ( family, size, style, color… ) of the products count. – Count Background By default, it has a yellow background. – View Products Button Here you can customize the look and everything related to view products button; the font, the color, the background, the icon, and every option has its own setting on hover as well. How to Update The Plugin If you already have the plugin installed on your website, go to your admin dashboard -> Plugins. You should see an update notice under the plugin. You can also, download the latest version of the plugin by going to your account page -> Downloads tab -> Click the Download button. If you don’t have the plugin already, you can get it from here. I hope you like this update, please, let me know your thoughts in the comments section below and of course, your suggestions are welcome. Share this guide Facebook X LinkedIn WhatsApp Email
I just added this module, and I’m very happy. I only wish there was a way to limit the categories (or hide some categories). Reply
When will this feature be available? Client bought the plugin because of Divi Category Module. Is that any work around for now? Reply
Hi Abdelfatah, that sounds good and should be a useful extension of the plugin. Maybe it would also make sense to use the category module with a list view (with and without category image)? Reply
Really love to be able to add categories to pages. Any way to limit it to show only the immediate subcategories to a category? Reply
Would be nice to be able to select which specific categories to display. I am currently using WooCommerce short codes to do this. [product_categories hide_empty= "1" number="4" orderby="include" ids="203, 208, 204, 209"] Reply
Hi Abdou, Your plugin is easy and useful. Well, one thing I miss. I have been waiting for long time to the modul Ajax Add to Cart. This would make your plugin complete. Reply
Is there a way add pagination for the categories? I only want to show 10 categories at a time if possible. Reply
