I’m pleased to announce the release of a new version of the popular WooCommerce Builder For Divi plugin. Version 3.1 is now available to download. It has been a while since I released new modules, but this new version has a whole new module that has been requested a lot to display WooCommerce categories. This update also adds support for WooCommerce 4.2.
Woo Categories Module
The module displays a grid of WooCommerce Categories with full support of Divi theme‘s mighty visual builder. It can be used on any page of your website.

How to Update The Plugin
If you already have the plugin installed on your website, go to your admin dashboard -> Plugins. You should see an update notice under the plugin.
You can also, download the latest version of the plugin by going to your account page -> Downloads tab -> Click the Download button.
If you don’t have the plugin already, you can get it from here.
I hope you like this update, please, let me know your thoughts in the comments section below and of course, your suggestions are welcome.
I just added this module, and I’m very happy. I only wish there was a way to limit the categories (or hide some categories).
Glad you like the module and thanks for the suggestions, I’ll look into them 🙂
When will this feature be available? Client bought the plugin because of Divi Category Module. Is that any work around for now?
This feature has been added already! You can select which categories to display.
that sounds good and should be a useful extension of the plugin.
Maybe it would also make sense to use the category module with a list view (with and without category image)?
Thank you Thomas. yes, it makes sense, I’ll add them in a future update.
Thanks for the update.
You are much welcome 🙂
Really love to be able to add categories to pages. Any way to limit it to show only the immediate subcategories to a category?
Glad you like it. This is not possible in the current version.
Would be nice to be able to select which specific categories to display. I am currently using WooCommerce short codes to do this. [product_categories hide_empty= “1” number=”4″ orderby=”include” ids=”203, 208, 204, 209″]
Thank you for your suggestion, I’ll do that in a future update.
Your plugin is easy and useful. Well, one thing I miss. I have been waiting for long time to the modul Ajax Add to Cart. This would make your plugin complete.
Thank you, Arnold!
Do you mean on the product page? I’ll add it to my to-do
Is there a way add pagination for the categories? I only want to show 10 categories at a time if possible.
Sorry, this is not possible.
Is it possible to only show an excerpt of the category description?
No, the full description will be displayed.
