The long-awaited version 2.2 of The WooCommerce Builder for Divi plugin is finally here! This update was the missing link in the plugin. It took so much time to complete. And it will be the foundation for a lot of unique features to come next.
What’s New in WooCommerce Builder For Divi 2.2?
TL;DR: you can build custom templates for the Cart page, Empty Cart page, Checkout page, My Account page, Login/Register page, Thank You ( Order Received ) page & Order Tracking page. This version adds a full 8 new modules to Divi builder.
Customize The Cart & Empty Cart Pages
Now, you can build a custom layout for the cart page. This update adds 3 new modules for the cart page. These modules are the Cart Products, Cart Totals & Cart Cross-Sells.
You can also build a custom layout for the same cart page if the client didn’t add anything to the cart yet. In some cases, the client adds some products to the cart and leaves the cart for some days, WooCommerce will clear the cart in this case. This is an empty page that does not do anything. Now, you can build a full custom layout for the empty page. It is a great place to suggest some products to your client.
Customize The Checkout Page
The checkout page is where you get paid. It is really important to optimize this page. Now, you can build a custom checkout layout that converts. The new version of the plugin adds a “Checkout” module to the builder. You can use it to customize the look and feel of the entire page.
Customize The Thank You Page
After your customer completes the order, he is redirected to the thank you or the order received page. By default, you can’t customize this page unless you edit the PHP templates of WooCommerce. This is not the best solution for the most.
Now, using the Divi Builder, you can build a full layout for this page using its dedicated “Thank You” module.
Customize The My Account Page
The new version adds a new “my account” module to the builder. This module displays the account page tabs.
The module gives you full control over the look and feel of the page. The default look of these tabs is really bad. But, this module will make it looks far better.
Customize The Login/Register Page
The login/register page is the same page as the account page. If the client is not logged-in, WooCommerce will display a form to login and a form to register, if your website allows registrations on the account page.
The WooCommerce Builder For Divi plugin 2.2 adds a “Login/Register” module to the builder, and the ability to customize the entire layout of the login page.
Build a Custom Order Tracking Page
By default, WooCommerce does not offer a dedicated page for the order tracking. This version of the plugin adds a new “Order Tracking” module that you can use on any page. The module allows your customers to track the status of their orders by entering the user email and order ID.
This update gives you the ability to customize all WooCommerce pages but it is not the end! This will be the starting point that will be followed by a lot of beautiful updates, stay tuned.
I am considering your plugin for our website. I have 2 questions.
1. Does the plugin allow conditional fields depending on product category. e.g to have a required field for certain types of product but to omit it for others where not necessary?
2. Does it allow restricting payment methods depending on product category and/or value?
Hi Richard! No for both.
